Color Changing Rifle Barrel Thermal Safety Indicator
The flare mini’s thermal technology clearly indicates when your barrel is too hot to touch or store. How it works: the thermochromic infused silicone causes the color to change from dark brown to orange when the barrel is no longer safe to handle or store. The color will remain orange until the barrel temperature drops to a safe temperature, at which point flare mini will turn dark brown indicating the barrel is now cool enough to touch or store. Orange was chosen to accommodate the two most common types of colorblindness as it can be seen more easily by both.
